Take I-77 to exit 45 Troutman (this is just south of Statesville, there are two Troutman exits take exit 45).
Get back on ramp as if going north on I-77. Half way down the ramp turn right and follow the two lane road for about a mile. Just before the road dead end's turn right down gravel road, sign says F.O.P. lodge. Follow road all the way to bottom to reach range.
